Just a quick intro post - August 1st will be the first day of actual blogging...
I wanted a place to write about the different topics that interest me without clogging up Facebook. I snatched the title from the lyrics of an Adele song, because it perfectly described what happens if I spend too much time thinking about stuff - my head gets heavy! So instead of suffering from mental constipation, I'm going to share it all with you. And you're welcome...
I'm hoping to post Monday through Friday if possible. I'm not limiting myself to any one topic, and I reserve the right to post cute pictures of my cats as needed.
I'm also going to start a YouTube series in celebration of my birthday in September. The plan right now is to sing a song from each year I've been alive for the 40 days before my 40th. "Operation Hot Mess" will start August 4th - I'm hoping to pick songs that I haven't sung publicly before, that I really really like, and that would normally be things I would never sing. So if you like musical train wrecks you're in for a treat!
